The Still House Group has currently on view Derailer Derailer, a solo exhibition by Amy and Oliver Thomas-Irvine (b. 1986 Manchester, UK / b. 1986 Portstewart, Nothern Ireland). Working as a collaborative duo, the pair’s practice is rooted in sculpture, manipulated live scenarios and interventions, often reworking or exhibiting the aftermath. They are the 18th participants in the Still House residency program – this will be their first solo exhibition in New York.

Derailer Derailer consists of a series of duplicated forms, focusing on “object as witness” and minimalist architecture, reminiscent of utilitarian structures built for physical use such as obstacle courses and training grounds.
